Don’t get too complicated. You need basically room temperature water. If you have a water filter, then you can use that too. Temperature will affect needed developing times to a degree. Get the Massive Dev app if you’re going to do it more than once, or like trying different films/developers. Otherwise, search ‘massive dev chart’ for a very large compendium of starting points for various stocks/speeds/developers. My real tip is, spend some time finding a combination that works for you and stick to it. Oh, but you should be using a pretty tried/true combination with tmax/tmax, so maybe check the web for Kodak specific resources.
Good place to start with agitation is 1′ for the first minute, then 10″ at the top of the next minutes, until it’s time to stop.
Don’t forget you’ll also need a fixing solution (at a minimum, you can also get/make-from-scratch stop-bath and a surfactant to minimize streaking/drying spots)!
