Why do you take photos of people?

I used to shoot people insanely. But recently I began to question myself: “Why shooting people?” (I’m somehow influenced by Trent Parke’s “Question Everything” Philosophy.) I just wanna know you guys’ thoughts. Please feel free to speak your mind 🙂

Because people are more interesting, and if i can i like to interact with them and learn from them, most people will gladly tell you what they have learned in life, the good and the bad.
The fellow in the photo said he was a very happy person, he liked to feed the pigeons at the pier in spite of the fact that his wife had left him for another person.

Thank you for your sharing Mr. Mathematikos 🙂 Facescape sounds interesting since this is my first time hearing the term. I’d love to learn more about that 🙂

I travel for work and for pleasure.  Along the way I meet, or sometimes just see people that for whatever reason leave an impact.  It may be a story they shared with me, a look on their face that made me wonder what they were experiencing at that moment or possibly body language that spoke volumes.  I want to remember them and possibly share that moment with others.
