I Started with Nikon FM 10 then got Nikon D40 and as the lenses were more expensive than Canon then shifted to Canon 500D in 2008 and then few in between and now have 60D. I mainly take photos of my Kids, travel and macro. But now I am planning to go mirrorless with Fuji, as I feel for the past 3 years I have been busy with Hospital and most photos I take are with my cell Phone, and there are times when I am carrying my camera in the bag but I am too lazy to take it out. Hence a lighter camera might help take me revive my Photography spirit. But I guess its easier said than done there is XT20, XT2 and now XE3 and X100 Xpro 2 and ofcourse other brands. Hence I am here asking for some guidance? Planning to limit Budget within 2500 USD planning to get body and two lenses. Thanks.

Are you sure that what you need is a lighter camera to revive your photography spirit?  It seems to me from your post that something else is going on.  After a week or two of playing with the knobs and dials of a new camera, you may find yourself back in the same position where you are now.

I’m happy to answer any specific questions that I can about the Fuji system, but hard to give guidance about what would be right for you without knowing more about how you photograph.

Sounds like you take a lot of “dad” pictures 😉

I use a Fuji x70. I like the flippy screen which enables me to get down on the kid’s level without stressing my arthritic knees 😉

I buy a used Xpro or XE and a couple of Fuji AF lenses (and a flash). But why not motivate yourself to use the 60D? It’s a great camera.
