Ricoh GR II or GR III

Been looking to buy a versatile camera for everyday shooting and after reading Eric’s “Why I Shoot With One Camera and One Lens” I’d found the one for me.

Doing some research the GR III is rumored to be coming out in September 2018 according to Pentax Rumors.

Do you think I should just buy the GR II now or wait for the GR III?

buy what ever is on sale C:

I got my x100 used on Kijiji and I use it everyday. Most modern cameras have decent quality, if it feels good in your hands then go for it.

I would not both waiting for the v3. The v2 easily holds up in this day and age. I honestly cannot see much more room for improvement.

Hi alt Eric Kim here. Just buy the Ricoh gr II, it is practically perfect. I doubt the new version will be that different. Have fun!

I’ll sell it all for $550 that’s the best deal I can do. I have recently converted to film photography.
