My Favourite Lens

It’s mainly on street photography with vintage lenses and film.

Bookmarked. Really appreciate the articles. How do you come up with the topics for them?

Hi Matt. Sorry for the long wait in replying.

To answer your question, it’s a number of things really that can be split into two categories.

First is combining another interest you have with photography to come up with something that is hopefully different to what other people write about. These are more fun to write but get fewer visits.

Second is things you research and identify as topics people search for but aren’t too competitive to rank for. Reviews and how to posts, etc. These are less fun to write but get more visits, in my experience.

My new site is mbfitzmahan.com.  I just just shifted from WordPress site (per Eric’s suggestion) to my own Website and I’m so excited I can’t help myself. No, really I am so excited. Please see my Pick of the Week.’  I am looking for Asian photographers to feature on my Webpage.  I am an American photographer with an eclectic background, including living in Japan for a number of years. Through my Website, I hope to introduce a Western audience to the exciting photography of Asia. I also look to help the audience appreciate photography at a deeper level than the ‘nice capture,” “good shot,” level of social media. Especially, please look at https://www.mbfitzmahan.com/photographersofeastasia. I would very much appreciate hearing what you think. Thank you.

I recently started it after hearing your advice about owning your own platform, and posting articles to it is one of my new favorite things to do. Thanks for inspiring me to do this!

Hi from Germany, Munich.

I love the Street Photography and your Work, Eric. Your pictures are so real, that I am getting the impression standing right next to you and your subject while the picture is taken. This is amazing. Thank you for inspiring me every day. I like your style 🙂

I start with my blog last month. Language are german, but at the bottom on the page you find a google translate link :-))
