kito; why do you think that photography is a tool for self-understanding?

like the juxtaposition of the shot — the elegance of the curve on the far right is my favorite touch; and the sign ->

Hi there friends! I find it very interesting the possibility of changing ideas with different minds around the world , and having photography as a medium for this change.

After some years of following blogs , shooting , talking with friends , being a social media hard user , I feel i’m quite empty. As Eric has put in some of his posts… I believe i’m looking for something more meaningful in my experience with photography, as a whole process. I come from the marketing and fashion business , and use photography as a form of creative work. I’have been a broadcast producer and dj for a long time too, and some how I changed where i was putting my energy. These are just random thoughts of my “sentimental journey” as Araki would put it.

I took me a while to see me in the images I shoot , the one above tells a little about me…maybe the melancholy on the face of the girl up front, also the old movie on the back carries a lot of the history of this Dior expo  and it reflects the value i give to tradition, this expo was in 2013 in Paris, and last the font of the Dior logo which resembles the design of the handrail of the staircase. Well there it goes, thanks for the reading.

All the best, Marcos.
