Knowledge Network (knowledge.ca) is the British Columbia equivalent of PBS in the states, without the beg-a-thons and with much better curated programming.

It may be geo-blocked, but if you can get through, this series is worth watching

I just started watching it. I’ve been a fan of Fred Herzog for years (I grew up in the Vancouver he photographed) and it’s a very good treatment of his work. All of Knowledge’s documentaries are well researched, filmed and get into the heart of the photographer and their work.

Please realize that if our Public Broadcasting were better funded by the government as it should be, programming would be better and stations wouldn’t have to raise money themselves (or “beg,” as you call it). No need to be insulting.
