Hi Eric

Just a quick heads up, November 11 is Remembrance Day in Canada. It’s a statutory holiday in most provinces (except Quebec but there are still remembrance ceremonies in that province). It’s a very sombre day across Canada as we remember the fallen on that day.

As a Canuck whose family owes its survival to the Canadian soldiers that liberated my parents, I would ask that you choose another weekend, out of respect for those brave young men

Thanks

Hi Tom,

Thank you so much for bringing up Remembrance Day. My brother is also a veteran and both Eric and my family have been profoundly affected by war. We also recognize the importance of memory and the role of photography in documenting life and history. Thank you for the reminder and we will observe a moment of silence during that day.

Thank you,

Cindy & Eric
