An updated sensor is a must.  The 24MP Sony sensor has been around for a long time now and is significantly better at high ISO.  Pentax has been using that sensor in its DSLRs for a while.

I’d prefer a 35mm equiv lens over 28mm.  f2.8 is fine though and necessary to keep things compact. I find 35mm to be a much more useful focal length.  I know some street photogs prefer 28mm though, so maybe make two models.

IS would be nice, but only if it doesn’t add too much size and weight to the body.  Pentax already have IBIS bodies, so shouldn’t be hard to implement.  Not essential though, but useful for those low-light landscapes.

Got to fix that sensor dust issue.

EVF would be nicer in my opinion. Not everybody loves shooting from the monitor (like me) and in very bright conditions it’s not always easy to see the back screen, EVF would be great in this case.
Keeping the 28mm is better. I think they should make a conversion lens which you can connect to the lens for a 35mm or 50mm equivalent. Just like Fujifilm has.
Sensor update is always good!!!

EVF would be nice to have just because, an actual viewfinder would be nice imo, having the lens converter in the camera would be nice, instead of bringing more gear.

Eric here. I’d just like a full frame, and FEWER buttons and other knobs. Nice idea for thread jmoney, hope ricoh listens!

Full frame would be great, but it would still have to be a pocket sized camera. I owned the Leica Q for a while, but it’s not compact and there were a lot of things I didn’t like about it. I also considered buying the Sony RX1Rii, but it’s still too big to comfortably fit into a pocket.

I say they should update the lens design. Not the optics, but the lack of a filter thread and the fact that you need the stupid accessory mount to use a hood, converter, or filter need to change imo

I would like to see a sensor update (better iso performance), better AF performance and a tilting screen.
