Film processing?

I read Eric’s article on processing the 160 something rolls of film at Costco and figured it’s about time to bring my 50+ rolls in, but sadly they no longer do 35mm!

Is there anywhere that comes close to the cost of Costco’s processing at less than $2/roll? Not looking for scans, just development.

I don’t know of any professional lab that will develop a roll of 35mm film for $2.  That’s crazy cheap and probably reflects that quality of the job done.  My local lab charges $8/roll and others I’ve checked seem to be in the same ballpark.  If you want to develop inexpensively, then perhaps consider doing it at home yourself.

Colour or black and white?

I use these guys for all my silver and bw C-41work

Pricey? Yes. Worth it? You betcha. No streaks, no bubbles, better than anything I ever pulled out of the tank.

Their scanning services are most excellent.

Colour, (C-41 I take it) you could roll your own:

In Calgary and in fact Western Canada any London Drugs location will do C-41 and will do high res scans. In fact, one location here in Calgary does Ektachrome and similar once a week.
