You’ve found a great setting — I love the rows of shoes in the back, especially.  I hope you had the chance to work this scene for a while!  I like the deep depth of field, as it brings out all the wonderful detail.  The processing adds just the right amount of grit.  I think the man would have been more interesting if he was facing the camera.

I like the photo, but its not really about the photographer, it’s about the person in the photo. Why not give credit to the MAIN reason for the photo, the person in the photo.
Who is he, where is he, a bit of story on his life and his craft .
The story behind the Photo will give the photo a new perspective and life.

great shot…liked the multi elements….things…one sees in the photo…it gives me the right feeling of a man at work…

This would make a great series, I’d love to see more of him in the shop working, or other tradesmen performing their crafts. It’s a great shot.
