I Like It A Lot,

the color is awesome and with the characters, it makes the 60s’ look

the light on the main characters make him pop out and the ticket in his pocket drive me to make a story in my mind.

the dark characters contribute a lot to the story, he looks mysterious.

just the zero Bottle lower the frame.

good frame!

I like the shot as well.  The only thing that kills it for me is the cell phone and the fact that the main subject is staring at it.  It’s becoming harder and harder to take street photographs without catching someone looking at their phone.  Whenever I do the photo goes straight into the ‘ditch’ pile.

Street photography is about capturing humanity, and like it or not, smart phones are an important part of today’s society.  Of course you’re free to shoot what you want, but for me, never shooting someone on a smartphone is like deliberately ignoring an important truth.

Personally, I like the paradox created by the smartphone and what could otherwise be a scene from a classic 1980’s American movie.

Not sure I’d call them an important part of today’s society – more like ubiquitous.  But your point is well taken.  I still do find something off-putting about a street photograph showing someone blankly staring at their cell phone – especially when they’re the primary subject – but that’s obviously personal choice.
