I was born in Chile in 1955, and in 2008, I moved permanently to live in Israel. In the early 70's, when I was a teenager my father (RIP) gave me his used Leica camera and immediately I fell in love with photography. Soon I was developing film and printing photos in my own darkroom in the backyard of an old house in Santiago. I was ready to start my life as a photographer, but family pressure sadly forced me to drop the idea. I buried my dreams and sold the camera along with the rest of the equipment. More than forty years passed until one day I woke up and realized that I needed to fulfill the dream that was waiting deep in my heart: I decided to be the photographer I was destined to be. It was the resurrection of my art and my new photographic journey.
